I was looking through the Parkcrest website and went into the section containing blogs. I'm certainly impressed by the work you folks are doing, encouraging teachers to get online and use technology. I've never used a blog (didn't even have an idea what they might be used for), but after looking through your posts, I think there may be a use for me as a school administrator. I'll try to remember to come back and look at your future ideas, so I can figure out ways of moving my own understandings forward (now to find a way to make the time for this to happen). It is not a real SLAM as we are not having real audience interaction and no competition but its a nice word to use. Where did you say you found cheap mikes? Was it the dollar store? I'm starting to put some addresses I've checked out for SLAM on my blog if you are interested.
